K4 ballistic missile successfully test fired off Andhra coast second time in five days

Hyderabad : India has successfully test-fired its K-4 ballistic missile off the coast of Visakhapatnam for the second time in five days, seen as a major milestone to augment India's naval prowess.

DRDO's missile is capable of traveling a distance of 3500 km that brings whole of Pakistan and several other parts of China into its range of action, said an official. 

The missile is set to be integrated with India's Arihant class nuclear submarine.

The missile was test-fired successfully for the second consecutive time in the last five days off the coast of Visakhapatnam, the officials said.
