ICC trolls Virat Kohli with mic drop tweet, fans hit back

New Delhi : The International Cricket Council (ICC) tried to troll Virat Kohli over his mic drop celebrations with a tweet after India lost first Test match vs England by 31 runs.

ICC shared a tweet on twitter with a caption - "Root Out" along with a fisted hand sign and a microphone. In the picture, Virat Kohli and Joe Root can be seen standing together and having a discussion. But an addition of mic changed the whole meaning leaving fans with red face.

Here is how fans slammed ICC for trolling Virat Kohli, terming it to be a thing done by 'cheap' people on social media platform.

The mic drop gesture by Kohli on the first day of the Test was a fallout of Root's own similar celebration after his second successive hundreds helped England win the three-match ODI series.
