Pakistan Umpire Withdrawn; Akram, Akhtar voluntarily withdraw

Mumbai : After Shiv Sena’s protest, Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar has been withdrawn from officiating in the remaining two matches of the on-going India-South Africa one-day series.
Following this, former Pakistani cricketers Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar have also decided to boycott the fifth ODI
On Monday morning Shiv Sena activists stormed BCCI office in Mumbai and threatened to prevent Mr Dar from umpiring in the fifth ODI
ICC spokesperson said umpire Aleem would also be not able to perform his duties under tense situation so he has been withdrawn for the fifth ODI
The meeting of two cricket board chiefs from Pakistan and India was also rescheduled for Monday in New Delhi post protest.
The Indian and Pakistani cricket boards had signed a pact for six bilateral series between 2015 and 2023.
