Sanath Jayasuriya unable to walk these days. Read what happened to him

Colombo : Sri Lanka's legendary all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya is going through tough times in his retirement life these days.

The 48-year-old is currently suffering from a knee surgery and is unable to even walk on his own.

It has been learned that Sanath Jayasuriya will soon be flying to Melbourne for his treatment.

The bad news attached to it is that the recovery could take months and he might have to stay in bed for long time.

In a career spanning two decades for Sri Lanka, Jayasuriya played a critical role in Sri Lanka’s rise as a power to reckon with. He played 110 Tests, 445 ODIs and 31 T20Is. He remains the second highest run-scorer for the island nation with 13,364 runs 28 centuries and 68 fifties at 32.51.
