Mumbai : Former Indian skipper and current BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly left everyone scratching their heads with a tweet in which he talked about starting 'a new chapter of life', leaving many speculating his retirement as BCCI chief.

On June 1, 2022, Sourav Ganguly wrote a tweet: "Today, I am planning to start something that I feel will probably help a lot of people. I hope you continue your support as I enter this chapter of my life."

Ganguly is currently serving as 39th President of BCCI; soon after his tweet, netizens started speculating about his retirement.

There is no official announcement yet on his retirement. BCCI has also not confirmed the speculation and with this he is currently on the position.
