Kabaddi World Cup 2016: Organizers to ditch Pakistan this time

New Delhi : Another shocker for Pakistan from India, the organizers of upcoming Kabaddi World Cup 2016 have decided not to invite the neighbour nation for the event that begins from November 3 in Punjab.

It's not a revenge policy due to ongoing border tensions between the nation but, the action comes with its influence and has been initiated with a view to security concerns of the players.

Organizing committee's president and Punjab cabinet minister Sikander Singh Maluka said, "The situation in the state following the surgical strike by Indian Army at the LoC does not augur well to invite Pakistan for the World Cup scheduled to be held between November 3 and 17."
