HRDS INDIA Athlete Shines as Indian Women’s Relay Team Wins Gold in Taiwan
New Delhi : India’s women’s 4×100m relay team sprinted to gold at the Taiwan Athletics Open 2025, setting a new championship record of 44.07 seconds. The victorious team comprised V. Sudheeksha, Abhinaya Rajarajan, S. S. Sneha, and Nithya Gandhe, who delivered a flawless team effort to bring home the top honour at this World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze-level meet.
This win marks a significant milestone for the country’s athletics program, and for HRDS INDIA Sports Academy, which proudly supports S. S. Sneha, one of the four medal-winning sprinters. The achievement comes just a week after the same core team (with Srabani Nanda in place of Sudheeksha) won silver at the Asian Athletics Championships in Korea, earning India qualification for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
The switch in Taiwan—Sudheeksha replacing senior sprinter Srabani Nanda, did not disrupt momentum, as the team displayed seamless baton exchanges, excellent coordination, and unmatched speed to finish ahead of their Asian counterparts.
“This gold medal is not just a victory in sport—it is a symbol of what’s possible when talent, opportunity, and dedication come together,” said Ajii, Director of *HRDS INDIA Sports Academy. “Sneha’s continued success inspires thousands of young athletes, especially girls from rural and tribal communities, to dream bigger.
Guru AtmaNambi Ji, the spiritual guide and visionary behind HRDS INDIA, added:
“Every medal won by our athletes is a step toward social transformation. Sneha’s victory is not hers alone—it belongs to every girl who dares to run beyond her circumstances.”
The Taiwan Athletics Open win is the first international gold for HRDS INDIA Sports Academy, further solidifying its reputation as a nurturing ground for young, underserved talent across India. The academy, based in Kerala, focuses on grooming athletes from tribal and economically weaker sections, equipping them with the tools to perform at the highest level.
As the countdown begins to the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, this victory in Taiwan sends a clear message: India’s women sprinters are ready to compete and conquer on the global stage.
