New Delhi : Indian shuttler PV Sindhu played a brilliant knock against Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark to outclass her and enter the women's singles final of the Swiss Open Super 300 tournament on Saturday.

PV Sindhu defeated Blichfeldt 22-20, 21-10 in 43 minutes to avenge her first-round loss to the Danish world no. 12 at the Yonex Thailand Open in January.

Interestingly, this will be Sindhu's first final appearance since the World championships in 2019.

For men, former champion Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the men’s singles semifinals after a straight game win over sixth seed Kantaphon Wangcharoen of Thailand.
