Gionee India begins special festive discount race with 'A1'

New Delhi : As the festive season sets in, Gionee India on Tuesday announced a special discount of Rs 3,000 on its flagship device "A1". Originally priced at Rs 19,999, the device can now be purchased for Rs 16,999, the company said in a statement.

The device with a 5.5-inch screen sports 16MP front camera and 13MP rear camera with F2.0 lens and dual tone flash technology. It is powered by MediaTek P10 processor.

Users who would activate "A1" on the Jio network for the first time with a recharge of Rs 309 or above will be entitled to an additional 60 GB Jio 4G data. 

Each customer will get this additional data benefit on six recharges of Rs 309 or above, the statement added.

The device is available in grey, black and gold colours.
