Tips: How to fix wet or drenched mobile phone

New Delhi : There are mobile phones which are now waterproof but majority still remains a traditional one which stops working when come in contact with water. Here are some tips that could be useful in reviving the phone back to life.

1: Switch off mobile instantly after it comes in contact with the water.

2: Disassemble the mobile phone parts and put them upside down to drain off water.

3: If the water has gone inside the display then disassemble it too instantly.

4: Use a hot blower to dry off parts completely. It would be better if the parts can be put to sunlight as it will remove all kind of moisture from them. In case of no sunlight, silica gels can also be used as alternatives.

5: After drying the phone completely reassemble the device and see if it is working or not. In case it does not work take it to the service centre or buy a new one.
