Google rolls out AI-based grammar checker for G Suite apps to all users

New Delhi : In mid-2018, Google had revealed its AI-based grammar checker for its docs and other G Suite apps, but that time it was exclusively available for only business users. Now, the tech giant has rolled out feature for all customers who use G Suite Basic, Business, or Enterprise.

Currently, the service is available at a cost $5, $10, or $25 per month, depending upon the type of service you opt.

The technology is able to catch errors ranging from the commonly mistaken usage of “affect” versus “effect”, to more complex rules regarding the tense of verbs and correct preposition usage.

The functionality of the feature is currently available to paid customers but with increasing competition, it is likely that the service will soon be made available to its free users too, but we don’t have any indication yet of when that may be.
