New Delhi : Samsung Electronics announced that their latest One UI 7 will start rolling from April 7, 2025 onwards, bringing bold new design for enhanced personalisation and control to the user experience. According to the official note, the new design has been made to make AI work more efficiently on the Galaxy devices.

The update will be available starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, gradually rolling out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

With a streamlined home screen, refreshed One UI widgets, and a customizable lock screen, users can effortlessly personalize their devices to suit their style and needs.

For added convenience, the new Now Bar provides real-time updates directly on the lock screen. Whether tracking progress during a morning run or checking the song playing through Galaxy Buds, users can swipe for instant access—no unlock required.

Smarter AI for a More Intuitive Experience

One UI 7 brings powerful AI-driven features to boost productivity and unleash creativity. Galaxy AI simplifies daily tasks, reducing app-switching hassles. With AI Select, contextual recommendations make actions like converting a video clip into a GIF as easy as a swipe and tap via the Edge Panel. Writing Assist streamlines tasks by summarizing or formatting text with a single selection.

Creativity gets a boost too. Drawing Assist transforms ideas into reality using text prompts, images, or sketches, while Audio Eraser simplifies video editing by isolating sounds and eliminating unwanted noise—making advanced tools accessible to everyone.

Integrated with Google Gemini, One UI 7 offers natural, conversational control. Long-press the side button and say, “Find Italian, pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating nearby,” and Gemini delivers tailored suggestions instantly. Natural language search also extends to Settings—say “My eyes are feeling tired,” and options like brightness adjustments or Eye Comfort Shield appear in seconds.
