152 Pakistani terrorists operating in Afghanistan killed

New Delhi : More than 150 terrorists with roots from Pakistan, operating in Afghanistan, have been reportedly killed in an operation conducted by Afghan Army in Helmand and Kandahar province, said interior affairs ministry.

Addressing a press conference, interior ministry's spokesperson Tariq Arian released a list of terrorists who have been killed in the operation.

"At least 55 Taliban commanders have been killed in Helmand and Kandahar provinces in Afghan forces operations in response to their attacks," Arain said. 

"152 Pakistani fighters were killed in Helmand," he added.

According to a report by UNSC, there are more than 6,500 Pakistani terrorists who are operating in Afghanistan, most of them belong to a terrorist outfit TTP.
