At least 20 Yemeni soldiers killed in suicide bomb in Aden: Military official

Aden : A suicide bomber on Sunday killed at least 20 Yemeni soldiers and wounded many at a military camp in Aden, where jihadists are active, a military official said.

There are no immediate claims by any terror group behind the attack.

Recently, 50 soldiers were killed in a similar attack after a man had detonated his explosives belt at a military camp in Yemen´s southern city of Aden.

Yemeni authorities have for months pressed a campaign against jihadists who remain active in the south and east of the war-torn country.

The IS group and its rival Al-Qaeda have taken advantage of a conflict between the government and the Huthi rebels, who control the capital Sanaa, to bolster their presence across much of the south.
