Bomb explosion near Indian Embassy in Nepal

Biratnagar : A bomb explosion has been reported near an Indian Embassy in Biratnagar, Nepal.

The blast took place in an open space inside the Indian consulate on Monday night, causing minor damages to the building.

An investigation has been issued in the matter with suspicion on a local political group.

The party had called a general strike in Biratnagar on Monday.

Meanwhile, security agencies in New Delhi confirmed reports of small explosion in Indian Embassy in Nepal.

As per information, the explosion happened at around 8:20 pm and caused a hole in the compound wall.

None of the employee was present inside the building at the time of explosion.
