Donald Trump suspends attack on Iran for two weeks, to discuss 10-point resolution

Washington : The US President Donald Trump announced suspension of two weeks on his plans to attack Iran amid resistance to open Strait of Hormuz. He said that the 10-point proposal from Iran is workable and would like to talk over it, hinting fresh negotiations.

"Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double-sided CEASEFIRE!" Trump said.

"The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate," he said.

Earlier, Donald Trump had announced a deadline to attack the power plants and infrastructures in Iran in case they fail to agree with him and open the Strait of Hormuz which is prime reason behind inflated oil prices and LPG shortage across the globe, affecting India a bit too.

The LPG prices in India have been increased both on the domestic cylinders and also on the commercial cylinders. However, the government is making sure that there is no immediate shortage of LPG in the nation and also ensuring people are not stocking gas cylinders.
