New Delhi : Former US President Donald Trump's first wife Ivana Trump passed away at an age of 73 years.

Mr Trump announced the news on a social media platform Truth Social, without revealing the cause of death. Ivana Trump and Donald Trump had tied knot in 1977.

The couple has three kids - first one is Donald Trump Jr (born later that year), Ivanka was born in 1981 and Eric followed in 1984.

Donald Trump and Ivana Trump decided to part their ways in early '90s.

Post which she went on to enjoy her life on her terms and money generated from various businesses like developing clothing, jewelry and beauty products and penning a number of books.
