Emmaneul Macron spends Rs 19 lakh on makeup in three months

New Delhi : In first three months after taking charge as the president of France, Emmaneul Macron spent nothing less that Rs 19 lakh (26,000 euros), reports a magazine.

As per the publication, the amount has been claimed by the makeup artist who was hired for the job.

The artist has submitted two bills for the first three months, one for 10,000 euros and another for 16,000 euros. According to Daily Telegraph, the same makeup artist also applied foundation to the President during his presidential campaign.

Former French leaders had similarly extravagant budgets for stylists and beauticians. Macron’s predecessor, Francois Hollande, paid his makeup artist at 30,000 euros per quarter and reportedly employed a barber on a yearly salary of 99,000 euros.
