WATCH: It is about being a human first, says man who came to rescue Indians in America

Washington : Two Indian men were attacked by a veteran Army official in Kansas, US. Among the witnesses, who heard attacker shouting - Get out from my country, one dared to step forward and rescue the victims.

Ian Grillot, the man who tried to save Indians, said - "It is all about being a human first and they were humans, so i tried my best to take them to safety."

However, Ian was shot in arms by the attacker while he tried the heroic act in a bar at Kansas. One Indian man lost his life, but the other has been rescued successfully.

Hours later, the 51-year-old Army man, identified as the attacker, was charged under with murder for the attack which witnesses claims to be as racially motivated.

Family of killed engineer has also raised demand for a strict action and stringent laws against hate crimes.
