Second major tremor hits Mexico within six months

Mexico : An earthquake measuring 7.2 maginuted on Richter scale jolted Mexico on Friday evening.

Initial reports claimed it to be of 7.5 magnitude and later it was reduced to 7.2 by the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicentre of the earthquake was located at 33 miles northeast of Pinotepa, in Oaxaca State.

No reports of injuries and damage have been received till last update.

This is the second major tremor hitting the states after the country was rocked by an earthquake that killed 370 people five months ago.
