Suicide bomber in Manchester blast named as Salman Abedi

New Delhi : Claimed by Islamic State, Blast in Manchester Arena is believed to be executed by a suicide bomber while people were leaving American singer Ariana Grande's pop concert.

British cops have named the alleged suicide bomber as Salman Abedi, aged 22, a student at the University of Salford, near Manchester city centre.

After the incident, British Prime Minister upgraded country's terror alert level to 'critical'.

She said soldiers would be put on the streets of British cities to help police standing guard over possible targets.

It has been learned that Abedi travelled from London to Manchester via train before executing the terrorist attack.

The deadly attack killed at least 22 people and injured over 59 people, including children.
