Washington : Donald Trump's social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram have been temporarily suspended after his tweets were found to be provoking unrest in the US Capitol.

Twitter removed three of Donald Trump's tweets after a protestors tried to enter the US Capitol and disrupt the official process of new President taking over the prime post.



Twitter has issued a warning that Donald Trump's page will be permanently suspended if future violations of their policy's are reported.

Meanwhile, Facebook has also suspended his page for the next 24 hours.

Earlier in the day, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube all removed a short video from Trump in which he urged the supporters on Wednesday to go home while also repeating falsehoods about the integrity of the presidential election.

Guy Rosen, Facebook vice President of integrity, said that the video has been deleted because it contributes to rather than dimnishing the violence in US Capitol.
