Bhutan recognized Bangladesh before India as independent nation

New Delhi : It was Bhutan and not India who had recognized Bangladesh as an Independent nation. “Bhutan was the first country, there is no controversy about that,” Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque told reporters.haque had first said that both India and Bhutan had recognized Bangladesh but later he confirmed that it was Bhutan who wins the league.
