New Delhi : Bajaj Auto has reported a sale of over 2.5 million two-wheelers in calendar year 2021, recording export 30 per cent more vehicles as compared to previous year. Two-wheeler exports alone stood at over 2.2 million (22 lakh) units in calendar year 2021, while three-wheelers and quadricycle sales added over 0.3 million (3 lakh) units.

According to a statement of Bajaj Autos, 47 per cent of the sold vehicles were from 125 cc plus segment of motorcycles.

Pulsar continues to consolidate its leadership position in key countries across the globe like Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, Peru, Turkey, Bangladesh, Nepal and Egypt, Bajaj Auto said in the statement.

Dominar grew 49 per cent last year, owing to a strong response to the new Dominar 250. The brand has become the leader in the 250-400 cc sports motorcycle segment in countries like Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala and Turkey since the launch of the Dominar 250. The Bajaj Boxer achieved its highest ever export sales, and continues to lead the market in Africa with over 40% share in key countries such as Nigeria, Uganda, and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Bajaj Auto is India’s largest exporter of motorcycles as the bikes are sold in over 70 countries.
