Delhi : The new 450MT adventure tourer from Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto was just unveiled at EICMA 2023, and it has been eagerly awaited worldwide. With its 450 cc twin-cylinder engine and redesigned architecture, the CFMoto 450MT is a powerful adventure motorbike that can tackle a wide range of terrain. In the middleweight class, the new CFMoto 450MT will also face off against the soon-to-be-released Royal Enfield Himalayan.

The 450 SR and 450NK, which were introduced to the world last year, share the same platform as the new CFMoto 450MT. The bike has a lightweight variant with a steel tube main frame with a trellis-style subframe. The most recent version is a multiterrain motorbike designed in the Dakar style. The 450 cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel twin engine of the CFMoto 450MT produces 47 horsepower and 44 Nm of peak torque. The motor is unique due to its 270-degree crank, which produces an exhaust tone that is reminiscent of a V-Twin. The bike has spoked wheels with dual-purpose tires on the front and back, measuring 21 inches and 17 inches respectively, and a 6-speed transmission. The Royal Enfield Himalayan, on the other hand, has a 452 cc single-cylinder engine that can produce 40 Nm of peak torque in addition to 39.4 horsepower.

Additionally, the new CFMoto 450MT has multi-link KYB monoshock at the back and KYB USD front forks with 200 mm of travel. A single 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc from J. Juan provide the braking power. The low setting for the ADV's seat height is 800 mm, while the high option allows for an increase to 820 mm. There is 230 millimeters of ground clearance. The new 450MT weighs 175 kg, which is much less than the new Himalayan's 196 kg (kerb).
