Delhi : Today, Hero MotoCorp announced the domestic market debut of the 2023 Xpulse 200 4V, which has several improvements over the previous model. With no direct competitors at the beginning level, the Xpulse is already one of the most popular adventure motorcycles in the nation. Its value for money is further improved with the 2023 MY revisions.

The basic form of the 2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V costs Rs. 1,43,516; the top-spec Pro variant costs Rs. 1,50,891 (both prices ex-showroom). When compared to the previous generation, prices have increased by about Rs. 6,000. At licenced dealerships, bookings for the updated Xpulse are being taken, and its delivery will shortly start.

Additionally, it has begun to show up at showrooms. With a few minor changes, the base variety stays mostly unchanged from the previous design, while the Pro variant incorporates several intriguing features from the Rally variant. It has a higher ground clearance, handlebar riser, front and rear suspension that are both completely adjustable, a longer side stand, and an expanded gear lever. It also has a higher seat height.

The significant updates for the price increase include a new circular LED projector headlamp with new LED Daytime Running Lights that provide better illumination, a taller (60 mm) windscreen, new switchgear, closed-type knuckle guards, revised footpeg position for the rider (35 mm lower and set 8 mm towards the rear), and a new luggage plate.

The three separate riding modes (Road, Off-road, and Rally), which effectively adjust the ABS level, are unquestionably another significant addition. The single-channel ABS system has been kept, and it still has the same LCD instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Three colors—Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue, and Black Sports Red—are available for the basic model.

Only the Pro version is sold with Rally Edition graphics. The same 199 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled 4V engine is employed for performance, and it is now E20 and OBD2 compliant. It has a maximum output of 18.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The gearbox is a five-speed one.
