New Delhi : The new 2019 Honda CBR650R will be launched soon in India. The Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India automobile company has already started the official bookings of their new sportsbike. The company confirms that the launch price will be under Rs 8 lakhs in ex-showroom.

Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd said, “Less than 2 weeks after the national launch of CB300R, Honda is proud to unleash its second global blockbuster in the middle-weight segment under the Silver Wing-mark umbrella.

2019 Honda CBR650R Specifications and Features

2019 Honda CBR650R is available for booking at Honda’s premium dealers, Honda Wing World Dealers. The world famous auto dealers are located across 22 locations in 16 States of India.

It is likely that the new 2019 CBR650R sports bike will replaces the CBR650F. The latter has already been discontinued from India, and also been removed from Honda India website. CBR650R comes with a more powerful 650 cc inline 4 cylinder engine which delivers 5% more power than before.

Compared to older machine, this new Honda CBR650R can rev all the way to 12k rpm and deliver peak power of 95 PS and 64 Nm. It also has a better torque curve, thereby offering more torque over a larger rpm range. Not only it is more powerful, it is also lighter than before. To be exact, it is 6 kgs lighter than before. Therefore, it means that the power to weight ratio has been improved by 8%.

After the 2019 global model line-up unfolded in EICMA, Honda has now opened bookings for its new middle-weight sports machine CBR650R in India too.
