Honda Dio 125 scooter launched, prices start at ₹83,400
Delhi : In the Indian market, the Dio 125 has finally been introduced by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. There are two versions available: Standard and Smart. They cost 83,400 and 91,300 respectively. These are both ex-showroom prices. The scooter has a normal warranty of three years, but the owner can choose to extend it to ten years by purchasing the additional extended warranty.
One of the first sporting scooters on the Indian market was the Dio. The Grazia 125 and Activa 125 both utilise the same design language, while the new Dio 125 uses a more potent engine. The engine's maximum power production is 8.19 bhp, while its maximum torque output is 10.4 Nm. The rear wheels receive the power via a CVT automatic gearbox. Honda's eSP, automatic choke system, and idle start/stop features are also included in the engine.
A fully digital instrument cluster with the following features is available: tripmeter, clock, side-stand indicator, Eco indicator, average fuel economy, side-stand indicator, and service due indicator. Honda's H-Smart key, which has a lock modification that integrates five functions into a single rotary knob, is included with the Smart edition. A front disc brake and a rear drum brake are both responsible for stopping the vehicle. Additionally, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres are available.
