Delhi : Honda is preparing to launch a new 100cc model for those looking for affordable and dependable motorcycles. A teaser for this has been released by the company. The motorcycle is not visible in this teaser, but its features have been listed. According to the teaser, this will be a motorcycle that will last longer and longer. This motorcycle will be available on March 15th. It will compete directly with Hero Splendor. Splendor is currently dominating the 100cc segment.

As promised in the teaser, will get more mileage

The company plans to launch this motorcycle in Mumbai. Even in the teaser, the name and design of the motorcycle have not been revealed. This motorcycle, on the other hand, will get better gas mileage. According to reports, it could also be a 100cc variant of Honda's popular Shine motorcycle.

The digital instrument cluster is expected to be compatible

This Honda motorcycle will be equipped with a 110cc single-cylinder engine capable of producing 8.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.3Nm at 5,500rpm. Honda can add features like a fully digital instrument cluster to make it more appealing to compete with the Hero Splendor. Which are unusual in the entry-level commuter motorcycle segment.

All models are overshadowed by their Splendor

Models from Honda's portfolio in the commuter market include the CD 110 Deluxe, SP 125, and Shine. Hero Splendor alone, however, sells more than all of Honda's sales combined. More than 2.61 lakh Splendor units were sold in the previous month. Honda has announced that it would launch its first electric scooter the following year. It will have a top speed of 50 kilometres per hour. It is transportable and has interchangeable batteries.
