Honda to launch Activa 5G in India soon: Check expected price and date

New Delhi : In a bid to keep up with the increasing scooter market in India, Honda is all set to launch the upgraded version of it successful Activa scooter.

The Japanese two-wheeler maker had introduced the latest version of the scooter in a recently concluded Auto Expo 2018 in Greater Noida.

Referred as Activa 5G wherein the suffix 5G implies the fifth generation version of the scooter which will take the legacy further.

Design and appearance:  Not much have been changed in the scooter in terms of the look. The company has incorporated new distinctive headlight which is fully LED alongside position lights that is not seen in the segment till date.

Colour: Two new shades have also been introduced to make it look more attractive on the roads. The two new colours are Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Pearl Spartan Red.

Features: New Honda Activa 5G 2018 will be sporting semi-digital instruments with an ECO speed indicator. A shopping hook has also been placed in the front. Additional highlights of the new scooter include 18-litre storage capacity, a 5.3-liter fuel tank capacity, combi-braking system, 153mm ground clearance and much more.

Price: To keep the new scooter competitive in the market, it is expected that the company will launch it with a price tag of Rs 54,000 (ex-showroom).

Competition:  Honda Activa 5G will have a direct competition with Hero Maestro Edge, TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access.
