Delhi : On September 7th, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles will introduce the revised 42 Bobber to the Indian market. A sneak preview of the future motorcycle is seen in the recently published teaser video. The little movie gives the impression that the 42 Bobber won't receive any significant improvements. The motorcycle will now have alloy wheels, which means tubeless tyres will also be available, as the previous teaser had indicated.

In contrast, the 42 Bobber in its latest form has spoked rims and tube-style tires. Now, spoked rims and alloy wheels each have advantages and disadvantages. As they are covered with tubeless tyres, alloy wheels offer security and make patching a puncture simple.

The drawback is that if an alloy wheel runs into a large pothole, it could break.

The benefit of spoked rims is that they are significantly more flexible than alloy wheels, making them able to withstand significant impacts. They are also simple to fix, unlike alloy wheels, which require complete replacement if they crack. Yes, bobbers and retro-styled motorcycles look better with spoked rims. However, it takes a lot of work to repair a puncture in a tube-style tire.

In addition to this, there might be some new color schemes and a new side plate. The 42 Bobber has an LED lighting setup and a computerized instrument cluster. Additionally, a dual-channel anti-lock braking system is available.

The same 334 cc liquid-cooled engine that can generate a maximum output of 30.22 bhp and a maximum torque of 32.74 Nm will power the 42 Bobber. It is coupled to a 6-speed transmission. Jawa can work to enhance the motorcycle's NVH and exhaust note.
