Delhi : In recent years, there has been a notable surge in the adventure motorcycle market as more riders choose adventure-oriented bikes for a variety of purposes, including off-roading, road trips, and commutes. And among consumers, the middle-weight category has gained the most traction. Chinese bike company Kove has introduced the 510X adventure motorbike for the European market in an attempt to seize this potential.

With a tall and broad one-piece handlebar, wide saddle, and center-set footpegs, the riding posture and sitting position are characteristic of an adventure bike. The motorbike weighs 205 kg curb weight, has a ground clearance of 210 mm, and an 830 mm seat height. Twenty litres of fuel may be stored in the spacious fuel tank, and the digital TFT screen, which has all the required information readouts, serves as the instruments.

Kove 510X is suspended by KYB preload and damping adjustable units at both ends and features a diamond-shaped dual-wing beam-type chassis. The motorbike has one disc with a single-piston calliper at the back and two discs with two-piston callipers up front for stopping.

The motorbike is equipped with wire-spoke wheels with section tyres measuring 110/80-R19 and 150/70-R17. The Kove 510X is powered by a 498 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled mill with a 6-speed transmission, 48 horsepower, and 46 Nm of power.  Although the style of adventure bikes is generally similar, the Kove 510X has a strong similarity to the BMW R 1250 GS. The motorbike has split seats, a wide tail rack, an upswept exhaust, a long travel suspension and a hefty front fairing with panelling and a tall windscreen.
