Marvel-inspired TVS Raider 125 edition launching on August 11
Delhi : The teaser for the new Raider 125 Marvel edition has been posted on social media by TVS Motor Company. This will be TVS and Marvel's second such collaboration. In 2020, the two-wheeler juggernaut released the NTorq 125 Super Squad edition, which featured a customized scooter livery based on Marvel heroes Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, and Spider-Man.
The TVS Raider Super Squad version of the Marvel-themed limited edition is likely to give the 125 cc commuter a livery similar to that of the NTorq Super Squad. Expect to once more see cosmetic adjustments centered on Marvel characters. The teaser image doesn't disclose much, but we can make out red highlights on the motorcycle, which might be Iron Man's livery.
Regarding the mechanics and features, nothing will change. The 124.8 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine of the TVS Raider 125 produces 11.2 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. In conjunction with the powertrain is a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the back. Disc brakes and single-channel ABS are used for braking.
With options for single or split seats, LED DRLs, and a computerized instrument console with SmartXonnect technology, the feature list is as broad. The latter includes functions such as voice control, navigation, and call/SMS notifications. For a starting price of ₹94,619 for the single-seat model and up to ₹1.01 lakh for the SX variant with the SmartXonnect option, the TVS Raider 125 is offered in three different configurations. Ex-showroom rates are all from Delhi. You might anticipate a slight increase in demand for the new Marvel-themed edition over the going rate.
