Ola begins booking for its electric scooter

New Delhi : Ola Electric has started taking bookings for its upcoming electric scooter. Interested people can go on the official website and book their scooter for mere Rs 499. The booking amount is fully refundable. With bookings started it looks like the scooter will be launched by the end of this month.

Customers who reserve their Ola electric scooter now, will get priority when the deliveries of the scooters begin.

According to reports, the scooter will come with a driving range of 100-150 kms on single charge. It will get features like removable Lithium-ion battery, digital instrument console, cloud connectivity, alloy wheels, telescopic suspension up front and much more.

Recently, the company had released a small video clip showcasing its huge under seat space, good acceleration and segment leading range as well. The exact official details will be released once the scooter comes to market.

The Ola electric scooter is being manufactured at Ola Electric's plant in Tamil Nadu, which meets Industry 4.0 standards will have an installed capacity of 10 million electric scooters per annum.

The 'Made in India' scooter will be exported to countries like Europe, UK, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.
