Ola electric: New discount scheme launched, check details
Delhi : Only a few days after offering to replace the front fork arm of its electric scooter at no cost, Ola Electric has introduced discount offers for its Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro models. The offerings are free of charge, with monthly payments starting at Rs 2,199 and interest rates of 5.99 percent.
The corporation has started a weekend swap offer at experience centres in a few locations, albeit the discount programme was just introduced a few days ago. Ola Electric made the free front fork arm replacement offer for 2 lakh S1 electric scooters.
The discount offer is made in response to customer complaints regarding the scooter's safety and Ola's decision to replace the front fork arm at no cost. The business insists that this is purely a marketing effort and rejects any connection between the front fork arm change and safety issues.
It confirmed in a tweet by writing, "You may rest assured that this is untrue. All of Ola's scooter parts, including the front arm, are rigorously tested in harsh environments and developed with a safety factor far greater than the normal weights experienced on automobiles "the business located in Bengaluru said.
Sources said that this is not a recall, the problem mostly affects scooters produced between October 2021 and December 2022.
Cost price and availability
The Ola S1 can be purchased for Rs 61,999, which is less than its ex-showroom pricing of Rs 1,09,999, while the Ola S1 Pro can be purchased for Rs 69,999, which is less than its ex-showroom price of Rs 1,39,999.
