Ola S1 Air set to launch: Specs, features and pricing
Delhi : Tomorrow, Ola Electric will hold a brand-new event. Tomorrow, the company will start taking orders for the eagerly anticipated S1 Air electric scooter. In addition to this, it's possible that there will be further announcements. The S1 Air was first introduced in October of the previous year. The majority of the S1 Air's features have previously been revealed by Ola Electric. Here is all the information we currently have on the Ola S1 Air.
Ola S1 Air: Battery and range
With a 3 kWh battery pack, Ola Electric claims the S1 Air will have a range of 125 miles on a single charge. The charging times have not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer, and it is unknown if the S1 Air will function with Ola's Hypercharger network.
Ola S1 Air: Electric motor
The S1 Air was initially announced with a 2.7 kW motor, then Ola increased the power to 4.5 kW. Instead of the belt drive used on the S1 and S1 Pro, it has a hub motor. To cut costs, this has been done. The use of a hub motor also makes it more difficult to repair and replace punctured tyres.
Ola S1 Air: Cost and Deliveries
The S1 Air is available for a promotional price of 1.09 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). After the initial discount expires, the electric scooter's price (ex-showroom) would be Rs. 1.19 lakh. Ola Electric has stated that the Ola S1 Air would begin to be delivered in early August.
Ola S1 Air: Hardware
Ola Electric has taken a number of actions to lower the price of the scooter. It has twin shock absorbers at the back and telescoping front forks. The S1 and the S1 Pro, when compared, both have monoshocks in the front and the back. As opposed to the alloy wheels on the S1 and S1 Pro, the S1 Air has steel wheels. The S1 Air will have drum brakes rather than the disc brakes found on higher-end sooters for its braking system.
Ola S1 Air: Competition
The TVS iQube and the incoming Ather 450S will be the S1 Air's rivals.
