Suzuki's Access 125 scooter hits major milestone with five millionth unit produced

Delhi : The Access 125 scooter has accomplished a crucial production milestone, according to a statement released by Suzuki Motorcycle India on Wednesday. Recently, the company's Kherki Dhaula facility in Gurugram, Haryana, produced its five millionth unit. Since the scooter was initially introduced in the nation 16 years ago, the accomplishment has been accomplished. Access 125 entered the market first in the 125cc division at the time of its launch.

A recent upgrade made the scooter ready for E20 gasoline and OBD2 compliance. When 20% ethanol-blended fuel becomes available in the future, the scooter will be able to use it. The action complies with the updated government rules for OBD 2 compliance beginning on April 1, 2023. Starting at 79,400 for the Standard Edition Drum Brake Variant and rising up to 89,500 for the Ride Connect Edition Disc Brake with Alloy Wheels, the 2023 Suzuki Access 125 is available for purchase.

A four-stroke, one-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a fuel injection system powers the scooter. It produces a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm and an output of 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm. The Access 125 has a chrome rim around its LED headlamp, giving it a more upscale appearance. It has positioning LED lights that improve visibility at night and in inclement weather. It has a chrome-finished extended external fuel lid at the back and a side stand interlock.

A Bluetooth-capable digital console is built into the scooter and has functions including turn-by-turn navigation, missed call alert, caller ID, call, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts, over-speed warning, ETA updates, and phone battery level display, among others. A front storage rack, a USB port, an engine start/stop switch, dual baggage hooks, and a 21.8-liter under-seat storage are a few examples of utility features.
