Delhi : A preview of the 660cc motorbike that British company Triumph Motorcycles plans to launch on January 9, 2024, has been released. There have been rumours that the fully-faired vehicle seen in the teaser is the Triumph Daytona 660. The Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660 will both use the same chassis as this new bike.

Triumph Daytona 660: Features and Design

Multiple foreign sightings of the Triumph Daytona 660 during testing have shown that the bike appears to be more of a sport-tourer than a pure sportbike. The bike seen in the teaser has footpegs that are slightly offset to the rear and clip-on handlebars.

There are other noteworthy elements as well, such the instrument cluster, switchgear, and levers, which are similar to those on the Triumph Trident and Sport. It is reasonable to assume that the Daytona 660 will come equipped with traction control, a bi-directional quickshifter, and two riding modes: rain and road.

Upside-down forks that aren't adjustable up front and a monoshock up back are in charge of suspension. On the other hand, the motorbike has disc brakes on both the front and rear for stopping duties. Additionally, Triumph fitted the Daytona 660 with radial callipers rather than the Nissin ones that were axially installed on the other 660 models.

Engine specifications of the Triumph Daytona 660

The next Triumph motorbike is shown to be sporting an identifier that reads "660 cc," suggesting that it would share an engine with other 660 cc motorcycles. A three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine designed to generate 80 horsepower and 64 Nm of torque is anticipated to power the future motorbike.

It is connected to a slip and assist clutch and a 6-speed gearbox.
