Delhi : Hero MotoCorp announced in a regulatory filing that it will raise ex-showroom pricing throughout its two-wheeler lineup from April 1, 2023. The price increase will be roughly 2%, owing mostly to expense increases associated with compliance with OBD 2 and RDE requirements. The new emission standards will apply to all cars beginning in April.

The 293cc air oil cooled single cylinder engine of the Honda CB300F produces 24.47PS and 25.6Nm of torque. It is priced at Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new motorcycle will very certainly feature the same engine as its naked sibling, but it will be substantially more costly.

According to Hero MotoCorp, the precise amount of the price increase would vary based on the model and the market. Nonetheless, the two-wheeler behemoth assures clients "novel" financing methods to mitigate the impact of the price increase.

Not with standing the delayed recovery of the mass-market two-wheeler industry in the post-pandemic era, manufacturers anticipate a revival in volumes this year. Hero MotoCorp reports a significant increase in demand as a result of government social sector initiatives and good agricultural yields. A good monsoon will boost development and demand in the rural sector, paving the way for the impending festive season in the second half of the calendar year.
