Delhi : The popular FZ-S FI V4 will soon be available in the local market in two new colour schemes, according to an announcement made today by India Yamaha Motor (IYM). Two additional colors—Dark Matte Blue and Matte Black—are now offered for the entry-level naked motorbike. Each colour costs Rs. 1,28,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and they were introduced to draw in more customers throughout the holiday season.

The Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 is now offered in five distinct colours thanks to the inclusion of these colours; the other three are Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Metallic Black. As one might anticipate, there have been no technical modifications to the motorcycle's 149 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke SOHC, 2-valve Fi engine, which continues to provide a maximum power output of 12.4 PS at 7,250 rpm.

At 5,500 rpm, there is a 13.3 Nm maximum torque. The Japanese manufacturer also provides a single-channel ABS system, LCD instrument panel, LED headlamp, tyre hugger, side-mounted exhaust system, Traction Control System (TCS), Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect application, black-finished alloy wheels, blackened engine area, and other features.

The motorbike weighs 136 kilogrammes, and its petrol tank has a capacity of 13 litres. Additionally, the kit includes a 3D symbol, chrome duct plating, an LED tail lamp, LED turn indicators, radial tyres measuring 100/80-17 up front and 140/60-17 at the back, a monoshock suspension with 120 mm of wheel travel, a single-piece grab rail, and a single-piece seat.

Yamaha will introduce the YZF-R3 and MT-03 in December 2023, and they will come with a 321 cc parallel twin-cylinder fuel-injected engine that puts out about 42 horsepower. A six-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch will be used to connect the engine to the gearbox.

They will enter the nation via the CBU method and will only be offered for sale through Indian Blue Square dealerships. Prices should be in the range of Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
