New Delhi : The car market in India is eagerly waiting to welcome the 2019 Hyundai Elantra Facelift. Just a couple of days ago, Hyundai prototype was captured on camera in Ooty hill station, perforimg high altitude tests stands in line with the global updates the sedan received three months ago. It is believed that this feature will be the biggest USP of this upcoming vehicle.

The expected launch of 2019 Hyundai Elantra Facelift is during early or mid days, next year.

Elantra from the house of South Korean auto maker is considered as best looker in its segment. The vehicle will catapult its appeal in the styling department due to several reasons.

In the meantime, Honda Civic is making preparations for its comeback in early 2019 while the new generation Toyota Corolla cannot be ruled out from entering India in the closing stages of next year.

Coming to 2019 Hyundai Elantra facelift, as you'll step inside the cabin, you will find a new instrument cluster and switchgear, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with upgraded processor enabling Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, satellite navigation, newly designed steering wheel, etc.

Hyundai will more likely add a raft of driver assistance and safety features as well while the powertrain options could remain the same. The BSVI compliant 2.0-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel units may not get any change in power and torque outputs. The prices could hover in the region of Rs. 14-20 lakh for updated version.

In terms of exterior design, it consists of a unique triangular shaped headlight assembly, restyled Cascading front grille with added sleekness, updated bonnet structure, more aggressive front and rear bumpers with new fog light housing, etc. Other out-of-the-box exterior design features include boot with sportier spoiler, revamped tail lights with LED graphics and set of new alloy wheels.
