Delhi : Recently, Skoda Auto India reintroduced its premium SUV to the Indian market. It is the Kodiaq, which debuted in January 2022 and was completely sold out in less than 20 days. This is as a result of the SUV's small production run. Now that Skoda has reintroduced the Kodiaq in India, few changes have been made. Here are five things to be aware of with the Skoda Kodiaq for 2023.

Skoda Kodiaq 2023: Appearance

Skoda hasn't made any updates to its look. The same clean, angular design language from the previous year is still present. While the interiors include a two- or three-spoke steering wheel, cooled and heated seats, and much more, the outside has Skoda's butterfly grille and LED lighting.  Also available are 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the design will vary depending on the variation.

Skoda Kodiaq 2023: Features

Door edge guards, finlets for the rear spoiler, and a lounge step inside the cabin are the new features for 2023. The Canton 625 W 12-speaker audio system with a subwoofer, 12-way motorized seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB C connections for charging, a digital driver's display, and many more features are still included with the premium SUV.

Safety in the 2023 Skoda Kodiaq

Skoda Auto India outfitted the Kodiaq with a variety of safety features, including 9 airbags, adaptive front LED lighting, auto-dimming and defogging mirrors, mechanical and hydraulic brake aid, stability control, multi-collision braking, and park assist with hands-free parking. A 360-degree camera and the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are additional features of the L&K trim.

Skoda Kodiaq specs for 2023

The same 2.0 TSI EVO engine powers the Skoda Kodiaq. The engine has now been modified to adhere to BS 6 Stage 2 standards, though. According to the manufacturer, the Kodiaq should now be 4.2% more fuel-efficient. The engine continues to produce 320 Nm and 187 horsepower. It is connected to a DSG automatic 7-speed gearbox. According to Skoda, the Kodiaq can reach 100 kmph in 7.8 seconds of acceleration.

Price of a 2023 Skoda Kodiaq

Three variations of the Skoda Kodiaq are available. Priced at 37.99 lakh, 39.39 lakh, and 41.39 lakh, respectively, are Style, Sportline, and L&K. Everything is priced ex-showroom.
