All-new Duster SUV set to debut – Here's what you should know?
Delhi : The 2024 Renault Duster will have three engine options and a host of exterior and interior upgrades. Renault effectively established its brand by capitalising on the Duster nameplate's success, which was one of the first in the midsize SUV market. Here are all the important specifications for the next model:
A New 7-Seater Version: It is quite probable that a seven-seater version of the new Duster will be released soon. It will appeal to a larger spectrum of consumers and increase the midsize SUV's usefulness, but don't expect an announcement very soon.
New External Design: The Bigster concept's design had a strong effect on the 2024 Renault/Dacia Duster. According to the patent photos, it has an aggressive-looking skid plate, vertical air intakes on either side of the reworked front bumper, a broad lower grille with new elements, and slender LED headlights in a Y-pattern. Additional highlights include a robust bonnet, squared-off wheel arches, thick roof rails, a rear quarter glass that is inclined similar to the original Duster, newly designed alloy wheels, black-finished B- and C-pillars, black cladding along the sides for a rugged appearance, LED tail lamps in the V shape and an updated rear bumper and tailgate.
Performance & Engine: For Renault and its sibling company Dacia, the Duster has proven to be a successful brand in a number of international countries. The larger 1.2L petrol hybrid engine generates 170 horsepower, while the 1.3L turbocharged engine with flex-fuel compliance churns out a maximum power output of 170 horsepower, making the third version of the SUV the most potent ever. Which engine is going to India is yet unknown.
Interior: A number of interior upgrades are also planned for the 2024 Renault Duster. A sizable touchscreen infotainment system with connection options, a new instrument console, a revised dashboard and center console, better fit and finish and surface quality, more sophisticated safety features, and tech are just a few of the items on the equipment list.
Global Debut & India Launch: According to reports, the brand-new Duster will have its world premiere later this month, and India should see it arrive around the middle of this decade.
