Delhi : The brand's newest flagship SUV, the Audi Q8 e-tron electric crossover, has been unveiled in India. With pricing starting at 1.14 crore (ex-showroom, India), the new premium offering is available in two body types: SUV and Sportback. Bookings for the Q8 e-tron Sportback and SUV started earlier this month for a deposit of 5 lakh, and delivery will start soon.

The new Audi Q8 e-tron SUV and Sportback are simply updates to the e-tron SUVs that are already available for purchase. This time around, they receive the Q8 moniker in addition to cosmetic and feature enhancements. The exterior has been updated with new bodywork, a new grille, lights, bumpers, and a tailgate. The SUV now has a crisper, more athletic appearance.

The top-of-the-line Audi electric SUVs are packed with features, including electrically adjustable front seats with memory, heating, ventilation, and massage. The center console has two touchscreen devices: an 8.6-inch climate control screen at the bottom and a 10.1-inch infotainment system at the top. A Bang & Olufsen audio system, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, four-zone climate control, and TPMS are also included with the Q8 e-tron model line.

Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Soneira Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beige, Madeira Brown, and Manhattan Grey are among the available colors. Three other themes—Pearl Beige, Okapi Brown, and Black—can be applied to the cabin.

There are two trim levels for the Audi Q8 e-tron: 50 and 55. On both the SUV and Sportback, the 50 model receives a dual-motor configuration that produces 338 horsepower and 664 Nm and is powered by a 95 kWh battery pack. Both 491 km and 505 km of range are claimed. The 55 trim, on the other hand, comes with a more potent dual-motor configuration that can sprint the car from 0-100 kmph in 5.5 seconds and produce 408 horsepower and 664 Nm of peak torque. With a larger 114 kWh battery pack, the vehicle's range is also greater, reaching 600 km on a single charge. There are charging ports on either side of the SUV and Sportback. According to Audi, the electric vehicles would have a 22 kzw AC charger and be capable of receiving a 170 kW DC rapid charge.
