Audi Q8 special edition hits the market, priced at ₹1.18 crore
Delhi : A special edition Q8 model was introduced by Audi India on Monday in an effort to increase sales as the holiday season draws near. The vehicle, which will only be offered for a short time, is being sold for Rs 1,18,46,000 (ex-showroom). The S-line exterior package and Black style package have improved the SUV's appearance. Three color choices—Mythos Black, Glacier White, and Daytona Gray—will be offered.
Exterior features
The imposing single-frame grille in octagonal form, finished in Black, gives the special edition Audi Q8 a dynamic design language. It features a continuous running LED strip with dynamic indications and standard HD Matrix LED technology. It has R21 five-spoke alloy wheels with a graphite grey diamond finish and black roof rails. Frameless doors and a panoramic sunroof increase its luxury status.
Interior features
The inside of the special edition Audi Q8 features a wraparound design, "Aero-acoustics" in the cabin, a driver-focused cockpit, and a touchscreen MMI Navigation system without buttons. The primary screen is 25.65 cm in diameter, while the secondary screen is 21.84 cm. The luxury factor is increased with the B&O sound system and four-zone air conditioning.
Other amenities include an Audi audio and smartphone interface, as well as an Audi phone box light with wireless charging. Advanced handwriting recognition, a speed dialogue system, and shortcuts are all available on the primary screen, which also supports natural language interaction.
Safety highlights
The SUV has eight airbags, Audi Pre-Sense basic, park assist with parking aid plus, a rearview camera, and an electronic stabilization program for driver and passenger safety.
Engine highlights
The vehicle is powered by a 3.0-liter TFSI, 48V mild hybrid engine that produces 340 horsepower and 500 Nm and complies with BS 6. The vehicle has a top speed of 250 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 5.9 seconds. The transmission, a tiptronic eight-speed, is linked to the engine. It comes with a damper-controlled suspension and a permanent all-wheel drive technology called quattro. It has seven driving modes and electromechanical power steering.
