Delhi : On July 14, 2023, BMW India will introduce the X5 facelift to the nation. The redesigned luxury SUV has been teased by the Bavarian carmaker on social media, and it will come with improvements to both its features and appearance over the outgoing model. When the facelift comes, anticipate a price increase as well. Facelifted versions of the 2023 BMW X5 and X6 were unveiled in February of this year.

The 2023 BMW X5 facelift will have updated LED headlamps with new arrow-shaped LED DRLs in terms of cosmetic modifications. The massive kidney grille hasn't changed, but the bumper has been modified to look sharper. The new alloy wheels are the only alteration to the profile, and new LED taillights with X-shaped decorations are added to the back.

Significant upgrades to the inside include a new 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital console. The most recent version of iDrive OS8 will be used by both devices. A panoramic sunroof with LED illumination, glass-cut control buttons, and optional bucket seats are all sumptuous additions to the centre console. When the India-spec version is released, numerous leather upholstery options will be available.

The X5 SUV's 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engines will provide the necessary power. Power is sent to all four wheels using an eight-speed automatic gearbox that is mated to both engines. The model also offers 4.4-liter V8 and hybrid powertrain options globally, though India may forego these for the time being. The Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q5, Volvo XC90, Jaguar F-Pace, Land Rover Discovery, and other vehicles will be competitors of the BMW X5 facelift.
