Booking open for Maruti Suzuki's upcoming SUV Grand Vitara

New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki has started taking bookings for its upcoming SUV with the name Grand Vitara, which will be unveiled globally on July 20, 2022. The bookings can be done at all Nexa outlets from Monday (July 11) onwards.

For pre-booking the SUV, one needs to pay a fixed amount of Rs 11,000.

Grand Vitara will be similar to Toyota's recently launched Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Since both the companies are working in collaboration these day, it is expected that Grand Vitara will be similar to the latter with minor changes in design.

When it comes to engine and features, the Grand Vitara shares the same engine while the features will be almost the same.

The Grand Vitara is expected to get a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, digital instrument cluster, heads-up display, connected car tech and voice assist, 360-degree camera, cooled seats, 17-inch alloy wheels just like the Toyota Hyryder. Safety features on the SUV should include up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold assist along with multiple driving modes.

Grand Vitara SUV is likely to be placed in the price bracket of Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 18 lakhs in India.
