Bookings for Maruti Suzuki Invicto open at Rs 25,000, check details
Delhi : Maruti Suzuki has begun bookings for its new Invicto MPV for Rs 25,000, and consumers may do so through Maruti Suzuki's website or the Nexa dealership network. The Toyota Innova Hycross's badge-engineered twin, the Invicto, will likely be the first Maruti product to be priced beyond the Rs 20 lakh threshold in India, even though the pricing will not be disclosed until July 5.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Interior and exterior
Maruti Suzuki will offer the Invicto a different grille than the Hycross: two chrome slats, one of which extends into the headlights. A slightly modified bumper, new headlight and taillight inserts and distinctive alloy wheels will also be added. On the inside, the Invicto will receive modest alterations to the upholstery as well as revisions to the feature list in order to keep prices down. Maruti Suzuki may delete some ADAS components or perhaps the full kit.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Powertrains
The 183hp, 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain connected to an e-CVT like the Innova Hycross is expected in higher-end trims of the Invicto, while the 173hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine mated to a CVT is expected in entry-level trims. As a result, the Invicto will be the first Maruti Suzuki to only be available with an automatic gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Positioning
Like Toyota makes the Grand Vitara and Hyryder concurrently, the Invicto will be made in the Bidadi facility of Toyota alongside the Hycross. The price of the Invicto is anticipated to be higher than that of the corresponding Hycross model since Maruti Suzuki must pay a royalty to Toyota for employing the latter's TNGA-C chassis and strong-hybrid powertrain.
As a point of comparison, the petrol Hycross models are priced between Rs 18.55 lakh and Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). From Rs 25.03 lakh to Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), the Hycross hybrid's price ranges.
competitors to the Maruti Suzuki Invicto
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will compete in the premium MPV sector with its Toyota sister, the Innova Hycross. It will compete with the Kia Carnival, however it will be significantly more expensive (Rs 30.99 lakh-35.49 lakh).
