Bookings open for new Maruti Suzuki Celerio – India’s most fuel efficient car
New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki has officially started taking booking for their new upcoming Celerio hatchback. The car can be booked directly at Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships by a payment of Rs 11,000. The car will be unveiled on November 10 followed by an official price.
With the new car, Maruti will be presenting India’s most fuel efficient petrol hatchback in the nation. According to reports, the car will be delivering an exceptional mileage of 26km/l.
Currently, the Tata Tiago AMT is the most fuel-efficient car with 23.84 km/l as official ARAI tested efficiency.
The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been built on the heartect platform, which is also used for Baleno and Swift. The design of the new generation Celerio will be completely different from the one available right now.
The all-new Celerio will be bigger in dimensions, which will also translate into a roomier cabin. However, spy images of the car indicate that the vehicle will get a rounded and flowing design instead of the squarish design of the current model.

Meanwhile, the car has started to arrive at the dealerships. Due to shortage of semi-conductors, the car is expected to come with a long waiting period.
