Ford recalls Freestyle, Figo and Aspire in India

New Delhi : Ford India has recalled its products including the new Aspire, new Figo and the FreeStyle. A separate recall has been made for the previous generation Endeavour, details of which are available here.

According to Ford, the company is carrying out an inspection related to the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) wiring harness installation. Models including the FreeStyle, Figo and Aspire manufactured at the brand’s Sanand plant between September 2017 and April 2019 are affected under the recall.

The company has claimed that the customers owning the vehicles will be informed and requested to take their car to the authorised dealership.

The company has not revealed if all the cars will be recalled or if there is a small batch of cars which will be inspected and serviced.
